We can't believe we are only 2 days away from the first show of the "Reach For The Stars" 2005 Tour. If you are a new fan of the band we will give you a quick history lesson on the name for this year's tour. Our first record - yes that is vinyl record - released in 1980 - was named "Reach For The Stars". 25 years later (boy time flies when you're having fun!) we decided it would be a great name for our current 2005 tour. You've always got to keep reaching for the stars!
Rehearsals have been going great. In fact our final dress rehearsal was last night. Hope to see you all at Northwood's on Saturday. Again we go on at 10:00 PM so get there early to get a good seat. Our good friends Dreana Reign will be playing 2 sets that night after us.
What's New?
The most difficult part of this year's rehearsals was deciding on what songs to include in this year's set. Actually it was a lot of fun playing songs we hadn't played in years, or should we say decades. We received a ton of suggestions from our friends and fans as well as each band member submitting their favorites. We had more than 75 songs to pick from. Not an easy task. Sooooo - we decided to extend our set another 30 minutes this year!!! Two hours, one concert set, of M&R Rush music on this tour.
