Some of the band members will be talking with our good friends and talk show hosts "Roman & Dave" this Thursday on WJOB-1230AM from 9:00AM to 10:00AM. We will be discussing the current tour among other topics and playing cuts from our CD "The Thrill of the Chase". Besides being a great friend, Roman Sawczak was one of our first "roadies" back when we were getting started in the music business. You may also remember Roman from his days on The Loop, WLUP-FM in the mid 80's when he was a producer & fill in host for Steve Dahl & Garry Meier.

We're having a great time so far this summer as each year the crowds keep getting bigger & bigger. The best part is that every night, before and after the show, we get a chance to talk with people who we haven't seen in …well let's just say a long time. People who we played Little League Baseball with or grew up with in our old stomping grounds in Roseland. People who we went to high school or college with. People who saw us play at their prom, high school dance or college concerts. Heck we even had someone come out this year who saw us when we played a show in Colorado!!!! M&R Rush fans are the greatest!!!

Speaking of long time M&R Rush fans - Get this - Mr. & Mrs. Mardirosian (Marty's parents) came out to both our shows at St. Maria Goretti Festival and USA Fest….TWO NIGHTS IN A ROW! They still know how to rock - not bad - being in their late 70's!!

This Saturday we will be celebrating the birthday of our Good Friend, Booking Agent, Road Manager, Sound Man & Manager - Doug Rito. Doug has been with us since the beginning - going all the way back to the 70's!! He has done it all and we really appreciate his dedication. Make sure that you buy our good BUDDY a birthday drink. How old you ask? OLD ENOUGH to have a few pops! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOUG!

After our outdoor show at Sidelines we are planning to go inside the club - listen to "Band On The Run" and continue to celebrate with Doug… This will give us a chance to talk to all our friends who come out to rock with us! See you there!!!
